This place is a gem! The location is spot on for easy walks to the Abbey. We really enjoyed the Abbey View room, and waking up to that view every morning was special for our family.
My kids wished for a little more kid-friendly breakfast options.

Just spent two nights in the Orchid Suite at Haydn House! Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, and excellent coffee. Charlie, the host, was super helpful, even offering local eatery tips. Only downside? The bathroom lighting could use a little love for makeup! A fantastic stay.

Chur, the place was sweet as, heaps comfy and close to everything! But the decor felt a bit outdated and could use a refresh. Had a blast!

The suites come equipped with a small kitchenette, perfect for a DIY breakfast, and feature looked super fresh decor. Enjoying a fine view of the Abbey from the room adds a unique touch to the experience.
The lighting in the bathroom could use a serious upgrade, as it casts a shadow that makes makeup application a challenge. Some noise from roof work next door was an occasional distraction but didn't interfere with the stay. A reaction to the cleaning spray was unfortunate but only impacted the initial impression.

The location was almost nice but, I can't believe there was no breakfast included, dreadful! I expected a complimentary gesture for the inconvenience of parking miles away. And don't even get me started on the terrible bathroom lighting, excuse me, how am I supposed to get ready with that shadowy disaster? I almost wrote a positive review, but just couldn't.

The Orchid Suite I stayed in was beautifully decorated and super tidy. The small kitchenette was a handy addition for preparing breakfast. I appreciated the comfortable bed and great water pressure in the walk-in shower. The location was superb, just a short stroll to the High Street and the Abbey, with plenty of shops nearby. Charlie, the host, provided excellent local tips.
The only downside was the occasional noise from the street.
